The Rotterdam Student Sailing Association “De Zeil” (RSZV) has a rich history, having been founded on November 16, 1967. The RSZV is a sailing, but certainly also a social association. We offer the ideal combination between active sailing and a rich student life. We are open every Monday and Thursday from 5 pm and you can eat at the association on these days. We also offer countless other activities.

Whether you are a world champion or have never been on a boat before, you are welcome! We offer sailing at all levels, from sailing with nice weather and a beer in your hand to participating in the World Cup! There are beginners instructions, competitions, sailing weekends and much more and we are also very active as an association during dutch sailing competitions. Besides the sailing, we also organize enough non-sailing related activities. From galas to the traditional Dutch “cantus” and an annual ski trip, members can enjoy a variety of social gatherings throughout the year.
