Assistant Project Leader & Logistics
Dayna Naujoks
Study: MSc Medicine
In 2022 I started my adventure as a Bachelor student. I was already very familiar with Rotterdam, but Eurekaweek was the first time I was on my own. That didn't last too long though, because on the first day I already made friends for life. I considered Eurekaweek to be the perfect way to get to know my fellow students, my city and my study program.
In the next few years I participated in Eurekaweek with great enthusiasm within my faculty and as a guide. I loved having an impact on the start and soft landing of new students. So when I finished my bachelor, looking for a new challenge, being a part of Management was only a dream.
Now, I can proudly say that I am the Assistant project leader & Logistics of the 54th Eurekaweek Management. I am beyond excited to welcome all of you this year!
My function entails lots of things, which makes it all the more fun. I lead our weekly meetings, represent the Eurekaweek outside the university, order all materials, make floorplans and so much more! We have been working very hard to organize a week with unforgettable memories.

Acquisition
Martin den Hollander
Study: MSc Marketing Management
My academic journey started 5 years ago, in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. I wasn't able to enjoy my studentlife to the fullest at that time and I also did not participate in the Eurekaweek in my year. But than, last year, I got the chance to participate as a volunteer which made me realize what it was all about. Providing new memories and friendships that last a life long.
After finishing my studies I knew I wanted to do more. As of this year, I'm serving as Commissioner of Acquisition in the 54th Eurekaweek Management. I feel priviliged and eager to give my all for such an honourable cause.
Being commissioner of Acquisition means much more than just gathering sponsordeals. I'm responsible for communications and partnerships with multinationals, local organisations, non-profit organisations and others. I represent the Eurekaweek to our partners in lots of meetings and I make deals!
I'm very excited to be a part of this amazing team full of stars, which is going to organize Eurekaweek 2026. I sincerely hope that you will be joining us for this journey later this year and dare to dream!

Internal Affairs
Hielke Edema
Study: BSc Management of International Social Challenges
In 2023, I started my Bachelor: Management of International Social Challenges. When I started Eurekaweek, I had just become 18 a week ago, and then Eurekaweek started. Eurekaweek introduced me to so many amazing people, places and communities. It was a week I will never forget and still look back on as one of the most fun and exciting experiences I've ever had.
Because of how good my experience with Eurekaweek was, I always thought of the idea of helping other new students to have a similar experience. When the position for Eurekaweek Management opened, I knew that was what I wanted to do!
I am incredibly proud to say that I can call myself this year's Commissioner of Internal Affairs. In this role, I am responsible for being in contact with all different associations and making sure they are present and involved in Eurekaweek 2026. The best thing about this function is that it gives me the privilege to meet so many unique and fun people and associations.
I can't wait to show you all what we've been working on!
See you at Eurekaweek 2026!

Study: BSc Public administration & BSc Sociology
In 2023, my adventure as a student in Rotterdam began. Although I had only visited the city twice before, I was confident it would offer an amazing student experience, which it absolutely did! Already during Eurekaweek, I made my first friends, got to know the city, and joined my study association. This helped me quickly feel at home in the completely new world, called student life.
After my first years of studying, I felt the desire to step outside my comfort zone again and applied for the Eurekaweek Management. Because I had experienced how overwhelming the transition to university can be, I wanted to support others taking that same step. At the same time, the idea of organising such a large and exciting event with a group of enthusiastic fellow students really appealed to me.
I am now proud to say that I am the Commissioner of Volunteers & Participants of the Eurekaweek Management 2026. In this role, I am responsible for recruiting and communicating with all volunteers and participants. I also manage our ticketing and payment systems and organise various activities. My goal is to ensure that every participant has an incredible start to their student life, that everyone discovers how they want to shape their student life, and that all participants, above all, look back on Eurekaweek with the best memories.
Eurekaweek is truly an unforgettable experience.

Events & Promotion
Julie van Dort
Study: MSc Clinical Psychology
When I started my Bachelor's in Psychology in 2022, I decided to join the Eurekaweek. It turned out to be an unforgettable experience and truly felt like the perfect start to my journey at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Because I had so many good memories of the Eurekaweek, I decided to become a guide in 2023 and 2024, and later joined the team as a Management Assistant in 2025. These roles allowed me to help create the same exciting start for new students that I experienced myself.
After completing my Bachelor's degree, I felt ready to take on a new challenge. I am therefore incredibly grateful to serve as the Commissioner of Events & Promotion within the Eurekaweek Management 2026. In this role, I am responsible for all marketing and promotion of the Eurekaweek, both online and offline. I also oversee the creative aspects of the events, including the overall atmosphere and the booking of artists. I really love how this role allows me to fully use my creativity to create the most amazing experiences for new students.
I look forward to seeing you all during Eurekaweek 2026, and I hope this week will give new students the same unforgettable memories and friendships that it once gave me.
