R.K.v.V.
The Rotterdam Chamber of Associations (R.K.v.V.) is the overarching board of the five largest student associations in Rotterdam. In total the R.K.v.V. represents 4300 Rotterdam students. The R.K.v.V. aims to promote mutual contacts between the member associations and to act as a mediator where necessary. Most importantly, the R.K.v.V. is the representative of the connected associations to external parties such as educational institutions and the municipality.
At a student association you will meet a lot of new people and make friends for life. You have the opportunity to attend many fun activities such as parties, galas and trips. Each association has its own character and structure, with groups such as disputes and year clubs that you can join within the association.
Besides year clubs, there are also many student houses from the associations. Becoming a member enables you to easily find a new student room at the nicest places in Rotterdam! Many activities are organised within the association houses and this creates close friendships.
You can also extend your professional skills by joining committees within an association. These committees vary from organising big events to social activities and events focused on your career. Examples include the association’s board, gala committee, career committee, yearbook committee and social committee.
On the website of the R.K.v.V. you can find more about all the associations. Stop by one of the terraces of the associations during the Eurekaweek and sign up!
